About
Pets for Life Animal Shelter Inc is a NSW registered charity run totally by volunteers. Our team is dedicated to the welfare of the cats and kittens that come to us at the shelter. We are a non euthanising adoption centre, and annually re-home over 100 cats and kittens in the Byron Shire.
Pets For LIfe has been rescuing, caring for and re-homing lost, abandoned, surrendered and mistreated cats since 2000. We receive no government funding and depend entirely on the funds we raise from donations, fundraising and adoptions to provide the finances to provide food and vet care for our cats.
Pets for Life has DGR status, therefore all donations over $2 and tax deductable.
Pets for Life Animal Shelter Inc. aims:

To provide short or long term care to abandoned, surrendered, mistreated or lost cats;

To provide veterinary care, vaccinations, micro-chipping and desexing procedures to all cats in its care;

To rehabilitate all cats in its care and re-home wherever possible;

To be a non euthanising organisation wherever possible.
